Self-Inquiry, Chanting, Contemplation
Self-Inquiry – svādhyāya (Devanagari: स्वाध्याय )
In the Y.O.G.A. (You Organically Growing Aware) system we use the S.I.M.P.L.E. method, S.I. – Self-Inquiry that helps you M.P. – Modulate Propensions to bring about L.E. – Life Enrichment. Remember that Self-Inquiry has been a staple of Yoga practice for millennia. The meaning of Svādhyāya (self-knowledge) includes studying and chanting wisdom texts and also understanding oneself through inquiry and contemplation. I invite you to use these avenues of exploration to disentangling knots of stress, rigidity, and mental static so that you can live a vibrant, sincere, and deeply joyful life.
