A free gathering to explore the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali in a practical, heartfelt and non-dogmatic way.
Next meeting: Friday, February 17th, 2023 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Weather permitting we will meet at Crescent Lake Park (on the West side, on 7th Street North between 20th and 21st Ave N.)  There are lovely trees offering plenty of shade 🙂 Please bring a chair, or a blanket, whatever would be most comfortable for you.

We will explore together sutras 4.9 to 4.13. You can review them in the J. Carrera book, and also you can find them online:

• 4.9 Unique configuration of impressions (samskaras)
• 4.10 Impressions and desire
• 4.11 Causes, support and removal of impressions
• 4.12 Past and future exist in the present
• 4.13 Characteristics change due to primordial tendencies
• 4.14 Each unique object is real
• 4.15 Objects exist independent of being perceived

Also, since we are approaching the end of the Yoga Sutras, please consider what would you prefer for future meetings. Some people suggested starting over, while others thought we cold explore other meaningful books together.
