Namaste,
Today we are going to explore standing posture. Is it natural or habitual?
As you explore this, remember that your body is unique and therefore your posture is unique. When talking about our standing posture, it is important to remember our spine, which is the central structure that supports our body.
How do the curves of your spine relate to each other? And how do they contribute to your posture?
During the day, when you pause and notice your posture, how are the curves of your spine?
What are the tendencies in your posture?
Do those tendencies create tension or comfort?
One question that arises during this exploration is, can you make small adjustments during the day to create a cumulative effect where you gradually create a new habit of being in a natural, tension-free posture?
